Reaching out for support isn't always easy, but it's often the most important step. If you're here, you're already thinking about making a change, and that matters.

Before we start working together properly, we'll have an assessment session. This is a chance for us to meet, either in person at my Glasgow practice or online, and talk through what's brought you to therapy. It's part fact-finding, part getting a feel for what therapy might look like for you. There's no pressure. It's simply about seeing if we're a good fit and working out the best way forward.
I work integratively, which means I don't rely on one type of therapy. Instead, I draw from different approaches depending on your unique goals and experiences.
I blend these approaches based on what works for you. Some people benefit from practical strategies. Others need space to process and reflect. Most need a bit of both.
CBT focuses on the connection between your thoughts, feelings, and behaviours. If you're stuck in unhelpful thinking patterns or behaviours that aren't serving you, CBT gives you practical tools to challenge and shift them. It's goal-oriented and works well for issues like anxiety, stress, and low mood.
This approach looks at the deeper patterns beneath the surface, how past experiences, relationships, and unconscious processes shape how you feel and behave now. It's particularly useful if you find yourself repeating the same patterns or struggling with issues that feel rooted in something older.
At its core, person-centred therapy is about creating a safe, non-judgemental space where you can explore your feelings without pressure or direction. It trusts that you have the answers within you, and my role is to help you find them.
I offer sessions both in person at my Glasgow practice and online across the UK. In-person sessions give you a dedicated space away from everything else, whilst online sessions offer flexibility if you're juggling work, family, or just prefer the comfort of your own environment. Both work equally well. It's about what suits you.
Sessions are 50 minutes and typically happen weekly, though we can adjust the frequency depending on what you need. I work afternoons and evenings to fit around your schedule.
I work with a wide range of issues including anxiety, depression, stress, burnout, relationship difficulties and family pressure. I also support clients struggling with low self-esteem, anger management, addiction, trauma, and grief. For some people, it's about navigating identity, faith, or the weight of cultural expectations. For others, it's processing racism, spiritual abuse, or the pressure of trying to belong in spaces that don't always feel welcoming.
I specialise in trauma-informed therapy, particularly with young people and adults from Muslim and minoritised communities. I understand the specific challenges that come with balancing multiple identities, managing family dynamics, or dealing with discrimination. But wherever you're coming from, if something's affecting your wellbeing, we can work through it together.
Alongside my therapy practice, I offer training and consultancy to organisations working with young people and communities. If you're part of a voluntary organisation or youth service and you're looking for support around mental health, wellbeing, or trauma-informed practice, get in touch to discuss how I might be able to help.
If you're ready to take the next step, or you just want to ask a few questions first, I'm here. Let's arrange an assessment session and see how we can work together.
